Daniel,

I'm afraid we can't do business.

The Canon EOS-1Ds the 11-megapixel, full-frame, gasketed-for-armageddon-duty,
$7,999 digital body. I'm not sure what's stuffed in box under your desk, but
I won't be converting it to an EOS 1v film camera for you. (Darn. That would
have worked out soooo well for me.)

Hey!

I'm just reading off the camera. I don't know much about Canon. You wrote
"Canon EOS 1v" but I read "Canon EOS 1 Ds" on the camera. The "D" was
written below the EOS 1? (I'm at home now, I don't remember the letter ?
stood for).

It'd got a Kodak back (like the one planned for Leica ... in a way). You
can remove the back, stick your grubby fingers all over the sensor (if you
want). There's a frameline in the viewfinder showing the smaller taking
rectangle for the sensor and the back is connected to the camera by a
couple of wires going up in a hole where the take-up spool normally would
be. It looks like a real "hack" if you ask me.

The room for putting film is still there, but not the takeup spool. This
goes gack to 1998, I think. It's hardly ever been used.
