Yes.  I just read on another forum that digital gives less noise with 
longer exposures than with higher ISO's.  I haven't tried it yet.  The 
exposures on these were about at the limit for hand-holding because I was 
deliberately trying to push the ISO.   I would only use 3200 when I 
absolutely couldn't get the picture any other way.  I also have my 10D set 
to underexpose to avoid blowing out highlights (more of a problem with 
digital than with film).  That's why the originals are so dark.
