Thanks Tina. It sounds like Canon and Nikon approach this in the same way.
Up to ISO 1600, Nikon uses such terms (ISO). But after that they refer to
HI-1 (3200) and HI-2 (6400).

I don't mind the noise/grain as long as it gets me there. Tina, if you
ever get a moment to spare, could you fire off a shot at the "expansion"
level. I'm not afraid of the noise at all, I would just like to see how it
looks.
