Subject: [Leica] SL2 MOT meter constantly on?
From: Rei Shinozuka <shino@panix.com>

on page 12 of the Leicaflex SL2 user manual:

The exposure meter is switched on and off with the rapid transport
lever (4). In the Leicalflex SL2 the exposure meter is switched off when
the rapid transport lever is parked against the camera body in the
resting position. It is switched on when the rapid transport lever (4)
is in the measuring position (in the LEICAFLEX SL2 MOT special model the
exposure meter is constantly switched on).

does this imply that you have to take the batteries out when you are not
using the SL2 MOT, or else replace them every couple of days?
