Switzerland had majestic mountains everywhere you looked, here in the Netherlands it is flat as a pancake, so I try to take advantage of that. The main picture is of a dike about 7-8 km from our house. I love the windmills, partly because for the obvious environmental reasons, and partly because most of them are manufactured in Denmark, which is a world leader in this technology. This is where everyone comes with their dogs. The surroundings are not that attractive, but the beach is fine, and the dogs have great fun. The male owners can ogle the female owners and vice versa.
