The M7 is no doubt the finest Leica M ever made. Whether the electronics will prove as durable as the mechanical parts in an M3 only time will tell, but in the two years I have had mine it has not given me a hint of trouble. I do use it on AE most of the time, and find it faster in use than the other M's I have.
