The Pentax meter DOES NOT read out in EV's. It is simply a number (Pentax
mistakenly called it EV) that is transferred from the inside to the
outside. If you set the ASA to 100, then the meter reads in direct EV's.
But ONLY at that ASA.
But you win one. My Brockway (Studio Deluxe) meter has an LVS scale which
is indeed EV numbers.
I was speaking about my meters. Leica MC, Brockway, Weston Master II,
Pentax Digital Spot. Yes, the Brockway has actual EV numbers. The others don't.
Neither do my M6's, my R7's, or my Leica MC meter on my M3.
