Buzz, who hates people who refer to themselves in the third person, suggested that Jack just go out and try a few lenses after reading up on the archives. Buzz will check with God later and see what her advice is. I believe that there are four Leica 90's that have the 39mm filter size and the current Elmarit with 46mm filter size. I'm hoping for some real-life suggestions of which of these lenses would be a best choice for a user lens (rarity is irrelevent to me as a deciding factor). Lens hood availability and affordable cost considerations and the fact that I am shooting B&W these days might be factors in the recomendation game. Size/weight/image quality are my major considerations. >> - ----------------------------------------- I use an f4 90mm Elmar with my M, that you can mountain climb with. It's light and very sharp. Only the 90mm that's part of the CL system is more compact. br - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
