This is not only a transitional period in the history of photography, it is a difficult time for those, like you and I, who have grown up with film, and see its use in decline. While I may write about digital, and post some digital images, I am still shooting film - I leave tomorrow morning for a family shoot with nothing but Tri-X, Acros, my Ms and my Nikons -and what I seek in digital is the look of black and white film. I have little doubt that the discussion of things Leica will continue to dominate this list. B. BD: I simply mean what I say - I am on the LUG to read about, learn about, discuss and view Leica and Leica-related cameras, lenses, photos, whatever. If someone wants to discuss the Oly 5050, the Canon or Nikon whatever, let them do that on the realted list. If I wish to know about them, I will go there. And I do from time to time. My concern is, and I think from what I am reading it is also the concern of others on this list, we are seeing more and more discussions - especially about digital - that have nothing to do with Leica. And that may, in the end, drive some folks from the list. I may be wrong.
