Interesting, after years of using nothing but honeywell nikor reels  I 
got a Hewes reel and what a difference!   The Nikors are ok, but you 
have to bee careful when you start and sometimes  the film is too long 
to fit on the reel.   The Hewes solved  all these problems.

The one I got was Omega branded and the box looked the same as the 
cheaper ones, also sold there.  The Hewes box was marked "Made in 
England" and the reel was clearly stamped Hewes.
