It seems that about half of Georgia's population disagreed with the 1956 flag that put the Confederate Stars and Bars on the flag. After 9/11 the Governor's mansion has displayed flags in fine patriotic fashion. I couldn't resist shooting a roll early one morning with the sun just hitting the edge of the fence surrounding the Mansion. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=1627013 Just as an aside, I spent about twenty minutes crawling around the front of the mansion with no problems from the security detail just inside the fence or from the two or three of Atlanta's finest who drove by.
