Jim, believe it or not, the real problem stemmed (that's a joke, son) from
the fact that they needed to make the M6 double old-fashioned tumbler from a
new Leica-developed Schott glass (that's another joke, son) that is high
refraction and anomalous partial dispersion and the particular glass in
question had 1) never been subject to aspherical grinding and 2) never been
physically exposed to the noxious liquid expected to result from the
LUGAVALIN 24 distillery run. ;-) ;-) ;-)
