It will be available only to certified LUG participants - no lurkers. That's the good news. The bad news is that the Distillery, in an effort to make this the most extraordinary bottling in its history, plans to let this noxious liquid percolate in the wood (oak AND sherry casks) for 24 years (they don't dare let it go for a quarter century); so Ted, my good friend, we are all going to have to last at least another 24 years! ;-) Love to all, Seth LaK 9 - ----- Original Message ----- From: "firkin" <firkin@balhpl01.ncable.net.au> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Wednesday, July 16, 2003 2:37 AM Subject: [Leica] Re: Single malt...and Leica > Ted Grant writes: > > > Mitch said: > >> > What does the Lagavulin have to do with Leica -- well they both begin > > with > >> > the letter "L" don't they? > > > > Alastair Firkin responded:: > > > >> It is fast becoming the official LUG drink ;-) and I would not be > > surprized > >> if Leica begin to include a bottle or two with camera purchases: perhaps > > in > >> a Hermes bag. > > > > > Yeah right Alastair and there'll be twelve blue moons in the sky with red > > dots the day that happens. ;-) > > ted > > Your sounding better ;-) > > Cheers > Alastair Firkin @ work ;-) > > http://www.afirkin.com > http://www.familyofman2.com > > -- > To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
