If you want falling down buildings then there are some just east of downtown. From 14th and the downtown connector (I75 and I85) go west on 14th street to Northside. Go right on Northside up the hill to the first light after the waterworks. Go Left at the light to Howell Mill Rd. You should see signs directing you to some artist's lofts going straight. If you proceed on this really lousy blacktop and turn left at the first opportunity this will lead you to a falling down complex finished in 1886. Many buildings some filled with artists and some filled with amazing stuff. Alternatively, if you take the MARTA line south of downtown to the Ft McPherson stop you will pass by many interesting ruins. Pick you stop and walk on over. E-mail me if you can and maybe we can go out this weekend. Any recommendations on any interesting old buildings here? Any old buildings where I could gain access and photograph? I've been using the Voigtlander 12mm for interiors and have been amazed at how sharp and distortion-free it is, and I'd love to find some interesting (i.e., decrepit) buildings to use it on.
