I have had extensive experience with just that lens. Don't worry
'bout any sub-minor radiation.  If the lens is turning a bit brownish,
it is suggested that you expose it to bright sunlight for a few days
Put it in a plastic bag and leave it on your roof.

BTW, how are you going to focus it on a Leica?  I used it on a
4x5 Speed Graphic.  Wonderful portrait lens.
