Maybe it's because people think "it's mine. it has to be better than 
average" and then try to sell it for >95% of what they paid for it 2 
or 3 years ago - and 6 trips and 200 rolls of film later. The dealer 
has no emotional attachmentand just wants to move the product to keep 
his shop open.
