Apparently this is not an Urban myth but really is true.

Seven up however had Lithium in it!

They knew about that happy dust for a long time. (Element #3)
US towns which had Lithium in the water had no murders or squabbles.
US towns which had Cocaine in the water had lots of murders and squabbles.

I wonder how much these guys were nervous when they had to take their
"secret ingredient" out of their highly profitable product?  Did they
know that white sugar and caffeine turned out to be more addicting than
anything? Certainly more profitable.
