Do not buy a used S it probably has been drive to the limit.
And if you know cars you now what the design life is in that zone.
Apart from that it,s great.
The cooper with S suspension and 17 inch pirelli,s is also very nice above
5000 rpm.
But you,ll miss low end torque.
Also the 2002 had some gear box problems.
