Jeffery, glad you asked.  The Summarit is an interesting lens.  By the time
you hit F4 it is pretty sharp although not crisp or contrasty.  Get past F2
and its out of focus rendering is very pleasant.  Wide open it has a very

I find the Summarit to be a truly special lens.  As a normal lens it is very
nice past F2.8.  You can pick up fairly clean ones at prices less than a LTM
Summicron.  When you move to the range from F1.5 to F2 it has a unique look
that can be used to advantage.  For example, imagine about 25mm of extension
mounted on an SLR wide open; especially with some bright highlights in the
background.  I'm thinking rain in a pine tree after the sun comes out.
