One of the first success stories was the introduction of a new 25 ASA film. I forget the brand, Elke? Anyway, Agfa had just come out with a 25 ASA film too that was simply fantastic. How did they beat Agfa? They charged twice as much. The logic being, if it costs more, it must be better. Nikon has been using that strategy for years. It works. But we all _know_ that Leica stuff is expensive just because it _is_ better (well, it _is_).
