Subject: [Leica] R 19mm and polarizers

I've just had some prints made from Provia 100 slides. A few were taken at
6000 feet in Canada with The 19mm Elmarit on an R8. Looking at them I
think they would have looked better with a polarizer taking out reflections
and improving saturation. I have no idea how to work a polarizer onto the
19 mm. Does any one have any suggestions beyond duct taping one to the
hood?. I know its not a good idea to polarize big sky pics due to the
variation in polarization with sky angle but this was looking down a river
bank with wild flowers. This question actually applies as well to any
filter not already inside the 19mm R such as a neutral density gradient.

Comments are welcome
Thanks in advance
John Bohner

I follow the digest to responses may be delayed - thanks
