Aw gee Alex,
Why'd you do that? Here I am always believing my Noctilux for near 30 years
has been f 1.0 and I've used it more times than I can re-call wide open
believing it was f 1.0, thousands of negatives in my file's have just gone
under exposed. ;-)

And from now on instead of complete concentration on the subject I'm
shooting in available darkness, believing the Noctilux is f1.0 it wont be,
and I'll screw-up. :-)

Of course this is all tongue in cheek and I rarely listen to technical
information as the only thing I believe is what's on the film when the shoot
is over. Do I think Leica should change the design? I suppose some new
asph. glass would help, however each-time they do something like that it
moves the lens, which at the moment is a pile of money to buy, it becomes
even more so.

Would I buy a new and improved version? .... I can't say because the one I
have is right behind me and may read over my shoulder that she'd be history
and I can't afford to tick her off. ;-) And she's served me well, so I'll
leave the answer to you. :-)
