As far as the horizon is concerned, there is a reason for it...Basically, I buggered up and the horizon on the full frame image was correctly placed but very skew-whiff! So I cropped the picture to enable me to straighten the horizon. I agree about 33896 - it does work well. I need to have another look at the IR750 contact sheets ad re-evaluate/re-print them. I love the Maco film - a couple of months ago, I wrote to you off-list for some advice. Thanks for your help back then regards Mark - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nathan Wajsman" <wajsman@webshuttle.ch> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Thursday, October 03, 2002 8:51 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] Landscape images for critique/comment > Mark, > > I think this one is the most successful of the IR shots: > > > http://www.leica-gallery.net/mark-pope/image-33896.html > > But then again, maybe I am biased, since Maco 820 is my favourite IR film. > > > When I finally arrived at White Horse Hill, I took > > http://www.leica-gallery.net/mark-pope/image-33897.html > > This would be a very nice shot except for the placement of the horizon > midway in the frame.
