Well, I don't know if it is a "majority" but, certainly, Kyocera's interest
in the Contax line and its Zeiss lenses is the home market.  It was a
similar concern which led Asahi to withdraw from their arrangement with
Zeiss thirty years ago, as they felt that Japanese-made Zeiss lenses would
not sell well in Japan.
