Hi Ted,

I looked at some of the pictures, particularly the trees. You are right,
they do look a bit soft, but I do not think there is anything wrong with the
scanner. I have the Epson 2450 as well, but I only use it for medium format.
I think that with 35mm slides or negatives, a flatbed scanner is simply not
the right tool unless web display is your only goal. But, given that this is
your setup, I would just be a bit more generous with the Unsharp Mask in
Photoshop.
