I have and use both.  The only way I can tell a difference in the digital 
files is that the Leica ones begin with L and the Panasonic ones begin with 
P.  The Panasonic does have the advantage of the rubbery hand-grip.   The 
batteries are interchangeable, contrary to what the instructions say.
