    Someone stated: "It clearly stated in LHSA flier that it would be
limited to 500 or so."
    This statement is incorrect regarding the LHSA black paint camera. The
original idea was to have a limited subscription time and place an order for
that many cameras. The minimum Leica Solms required was 300 pieces. The
total number order was something over 1,000 units.
    Unfortunately, AFTER THE FACT, orders were cancelled and dealers
returned unsold cameras. This is NOT the fault of the LHSA management or
Leica USA.
    To sell some of the returned cameras, Leica exchanged the viewfinders to
a .58 for 65 cameras. Well, I guess they still have addtional cameras, and
want to sell them.
    While you can grouse all you want, it wil not change anything and
personally, I think no one is to blame.
