So sorry to hear this...
Galen Rowell was a real photo hero to me in my early photography years when
I aspired to be a nature and travel photographer.  I practically wore out my
copy of Mountain Light.  I attended one of his lectures in Boston years ago
and got my book signed.  He was a remarkable man of clear vision in many
ways whether you take to his style of photography or not.  His wife was a
pretty good photographer too as well as a pilot.
