If anyone over there knows your views on "emigration", I wouldn't bet on
it.

According to a report in the "Bild am Sonntag," the crime rate has
slightly decreased compared to last year. The newspaper referred to
crime statistics for the year 2000 released by the Federal Office of
Criminology. It reports that approx.6.3 million criminal acts were
reported - 0.6% less than in 1999.

I will feel much safer on my next trip to Berlin. I have every hope that

out of the 6 million crimes yearly, I will be unaffected.
