Hi Johan, May I suggest you not post a picture nor show pictures to anyone by starting out saying.... >>> I'm not sure I like it myself...<<<< WOW man, that's so negative any viewer is already looking at your photograph with jaundiced eyes that you screwed-up and don't like the picture yourself. So what are they going to think?... "Well OK Johan doesn't like it and it's his picture therefore I suppose it's no good!" And they follow your lead at it being a crappy photograph. Not just this one, but anytime you open with that line anytime, anywhere! If you show or post, always go positive thinking and comment. Never ever start off in a negative form as you set the point .... "you didn't do a great job!" And of course as we all know...... "We always do a great job!" ;-) ;-) Right? ;-) My first thought when I saw your picture was... "Oh jeeeesh why didn't he expose for the background highlights?" And if you had, it would've been an interesting picture. I shoot a ton of pictures of my grandson playing soccer, baseball, basketball and whatever other sports he's in as a fun thing to get away from the work day photography. But that doesn't mean I approach it with any less professional attitude because it's my grandson. I have a deal with him that any pictures sold of him playing is split half and half . So from a shoot of the Championship all-star game last year one of the slides sold for $8000.00 US dollars.Yep that's right!! And his half goes for his future education. So when you shoot anything, absolutely approach it with a killer instinct that you're going to kick ass and it's going to be the best photograph you've ever taken! And if it isn't and it's not bad, for heavens sake don't start off with >>> I'm not sure I like it myself...<<<< Be positive even if you're bending the truth! :-) ted - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
