The colors in the foreground are so beautiful - I don't think the boys are too close together- have you thought of cropping the washed-out background out? Leave it as a kind of mystery what the boys are looking down at/ Just a thought Stuart phillips - -----Original Message----- From: Johan Doumont [mailto:johan.doumont@pandora.be] Sent: Wednesday, July 10, 2002 5:46 PM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us; MUGers@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Leica] Jumpers for goalposts I have just uploaded a new image at : http://www.leica-gallery.net/johandoumont/image-29851.html I'm not sure I like it myself... I would have liked it better if the two boys in the foreground hadn't been so close to eachother. The reason why I posted the picture is that it was made with a 50 year old Summarit 50/1.5 on a Leica IIIf and I'm quite pleased with the result. I bought the camera and lens earlier this week and they both are in absolute mint condition, except for the rangefinder, which is a little bit dim.
