Don't have an opinion one way or another on the McNally pix since I haven't seen them BUT one should be very wary of judging any artist/practitioner by a single project. It may indeed have exceeded his grasp or it may have fallen foul of any one of a hundred pitfalls that we don't know about. Personally, I have seen almost nothing written or photographed about/around ground zero that wasn't either flatulently trite or noxiously lachrymose, or simply empty of content, and that includes efforts from all points of the political compass. But my point is that we are all capable of failing. My English agent once told me when I was starting out 'everyone writes a turkey once in a while. You can't help it. Don't worry about it. Just move on.' - -- John Brownlow http://www.pinkheadedbug.com - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
