Thank you. I, however, am not a "technogeek" but am a human being, and come from a universe where acronyms are a rare thing. And, as I own my own law practice, my refusal to accept acronyms will continue, no matter the penetration you Byzantine Bureaucrats make. Convenience has nothing to do with it. Clarity is everything. Spell EVERY word out and avoid unconventional spelling. The modern academic footnote style is an enemy to clarity, so I refuse to use it: see the epexigetical footnotes and the like in my two books for examples. There are no acronyms in the Leica Program catalog or, if they are there, and I am too lazy at present to look, they are damned few in number.
