I use a Jobo CPE2, not very automated. All it does is keep the temperature
constant, but that's it--you still have to time things manually and dump and
refill at the specificed intervals. I have developed several C41 films in it
with good results, but I shoot mostly B&W and always ran into the problem of
limited shelf life for the rather expensive C41 chemicals. So now when I shoot
the occasional roll of C41 film, I just drop it off at my usual lab (where I
take my E6 films) and have them develop the film for 5 CHF (a bit above $3).
