To Adam,

You are thinking about security in doing C-41 developing.  Here is another
different thought.  If  you can live with "average" quality why not just go
to a local "1 hour" in store processing outlet, and specify "develope only,"
wait right there, and take the negatives to scan on your computer.   Let me
say  If you only need a few shots out of each roll,  and depending on the
ultimate use of the photos,  this may be a quick and easy method.  And it
may be economical as well, since you are not getting prints made.
