A side-by-side comparison will come up. Everything is exactly the same except the body size and weight. The Leica comes with Photoshop Elements and the Panasonic with ArcSoft PhotoImpressions. Since I use Photoshop 7, that makes no difference to me. The Leica comes with a 64 MB Secure Digital card and the Panasonic comes with a 32 MB secure digital card. I had already ordered a 128 MB card for each and a Digital Album to download the cards into, so that make no difference. I do like the Leica black body over the Panasonic silver body. I have ordered the Leica which should be in the first week in May and I'll let you know if there are any differences. The only reason I got a Panasonic first is that is was available first. I have the Leica on order and will use both. Since the maximum battery time is about two hours, I imagine I will use one while the other is recharging. I've also ordered extra batteries and chargers. You can't duplicate electronics too many times!
