What devices are needed to make that lens fit and work on a Leicaflex SL (or R8)? If one appears for sale, are there additional factors to consider before purchasing for use on the SL? Years ago I strayed momentarily from Kodachrome and dabbled with Agfachrome, a very good reversal film at the time, but soon returned to grandpa yellow. And for a long time (pre- my first Leica reflex) my only long lens was the 280/4,8 Telyt, used on Visoflex. When I got my first R3MOT, I used the 280 with adapter, then sold it in favor of 180/2,8 to avoid pre-set diaphragm issue. Wish I hadn't. The 280 focal length is for me the most often used when I need reach and that lens was absolutely superb in the images it created. And, like all Leitz products of that era, it is built like a fortress.
