While we're on the 803, I got one and was a little miffed to find that the
main closure strap was put under a little tension when the two front pockets
were slightly loaded (film cannisters, occasionally a Vivitar 283). Even
when not "loaded" there is really no slack in that main strap. The result
is that I have to use both hands to release the snap. I did extend the
strap to full length, which was only about an inch longer than its shipped
length. I thought somenone (?SL) had remarked that he could open the flap
with one hand.

Did I get short-changed on strap length, or is this the norm? If the norm,
has anyone found a useful way to lengthen it by an inch or two, so that
management is easier?

Thanks..........Julian

Carrying prints. What a great idea. Thanks for passing that along. I am sure
others do that, but I hadn't thought of that yet. Thanks.
