My typical shoot I've got color in one body and black and white in the other. going quickly back and forth between both. And I'm shooting people; promotional work, headshots to full lengths. Need 90's on both bodies. It;s my bread on butter focal lenght. a 23 degree horizonal angle of veiw. same as a 135 on 6x6 300 for 4x5 I love the balance and feel of the apo Asph Summicron and the incredible confidence it gives me. But the Elmarit is a tad lighter and it does the job also with panache. I headed out with the Elmirt the other day on an all day walk and i felt fine. The apo ash has such a lusch feel and you feel like you have such power to capture a quality image from a technical standpoint. It does instill confidence. That's the only word i can think of for it. But the Elmarit is still nice and the fact that it is just a little lighter makes it on that standpoint a little nicer. We are still in the awesome quality area blowing away the canon Nikon competition as far as my opinion goes.
