Within the past ten years, they attempted to prosecute a fellow south of me, here in what is REALLY God's Country (Western Virginia) for a murder committed in the 1950's. His attorney simply asked the judge how in the blazes the fellow could defend himself, and the charges were dismissed. Under US law, prosecutions for crimes committed more than a decade past are often subjected to the same rationale, and dismissed. Ponder this one, lad!
