thanks.

i do have a psychological block against cropping.

while i am no expert in japanese (my folks never thought it useful to
teach us kids), "osu" is a generic acknowledgement used in karate, also
a greeting, to show respect and spirit.  kind of the "sir yes sir!"
of karate.
