Your photos inspire me to take some b&w shots soon (his classroom is bathed in flourescent; my color pics were bad). One question I have: you note the loose framing. I think the first image could have been cropped, as the person on the right side is very distracting. Any reason why you didn't do so for the online image? Is this a LUG etiquette or something? OK, I have a second question: what does "osu" mean? That is spoken between sensei and the students at the end of class, and my son and I don't understand Japanese.
