I believe that most are as myself, we enjoy the images but have decided that
if we weren't there, we can't make good comments as to cropping,
positioning, etc.

However, don't you love that word, your main PAW has a lot of potential.  I
think you have too much negative space on top.  It appears that what
attracted you to this image was the interplay of the light on the hatrack
and it's shadow on the wall.  So, the top third of the image doesn't help
the image.  Try seeing it in a more rectangular crop.

I also think that there is a fine image in just the hatrack as a strong
vertical with the light playing on the top fading into the dark oblivion
below.

Last, on my screen the image is a nice transition with separation in the
blacks at the bottom.  But then many people see my PAWS as too contrasty so
maybe my monitor is off.
