Cosina, Tamron etc. are of inferior quality and they are cheaper. Most of them are probably bought by people who wouldn't buy additional NiCanoltax lenses anyway, because they are too expensive. Leica however, would offer expensive lenses of superior quality. It would certainly hurt NiCanoltax if the sales of their own expensive lenses go down considerably. After all most profit is made with lenses rather than bodies.
