Were to begin?
My Name is Ernie - I use Leicas and I'm a DOCTOR! ( read in the tone of a
12 step program)

It's inherited as my father, a physician infected me with the LAS ( Lecia
acqusition syndrome). He used to go out of his way to keep from telling car
salesmen that he was was a doctor - "they'll just abuse you ". I have long
ago given up on that as I don't think the salesmen care - if your in the BMW
showroom you are rich by definition and really who cares if you made your $
in the stock market, in construction etc.

I don't know who said much of the market are MD and lawyers who know nothing
of the mechanical nature of the Leica. I would challenge you on this one -
I think that amongst my friends most go for the Nikon F5 or Canon equivalent
- - few if any even know about the leica. Seriously. If that person is trying
to say that some people own the leica simply for the name that's probably
true but then so is it true for many other camera brands.

Anyway - Any of the doctors, lawyers, dentist care to add their name to this
new Survey.
