Some of the sayings on the small statues are probably worth preserving. I
recall that Altgelt hall (the only none Georgian building on the Quad) was
nice to look at in a gothic horror sort of way, and the small sundial next
to it said "Take tent o' time 'ere time be tent."

Good advice even today.
