Of course, the LUG would be a safer place... I was almost Leicaless this past weekend in that I had decided to take my Nikon along with me to shoot a roller skating birthday party. Fortunately, I stuck my M6 in the bag as I went out the door. I am taking a course at ICP in NY (basic B&W) and one of our assignments was to select shutter speed and shoot the entire roll of Tri-X at that shutter speed. I decided to use 1/15 (1/8 would have been better) and since I hadn't used my F100 in almost a year (since I got the M6) I took it. Boy, what a poor decision on my part. The lighting was marginal and I had a hard time focusing even with a 50mm f/1.4. I have been spoiled by the M's viewfinder/rangefinder. I got some usable images, but blew most of them! I wasn't real impressed with the exposures either, but that is probably operator error. Anyway, I feel your pain. Guess you'll just have to buy a backup backup M body.
