And conscripts involved in the clean-up. Paul's pictures are what one might call rather heart wrenching vividness of what happens to humans caught in nuclear waste fallout. If one hasn't seen his photographs on this subject may I suggest you seek out any publications with it as you'll be shocked beyond belief. During my time there, I kept getting into emotional crying fits with all these kids I was photographing, as in their eyes and appearance I kept reading the faces of my ten grandchildren back in Canada. Praying that it never happens again, by accident nor war. Trust me, the next time you hear some bloody fool politician go on about missiles and nuclear weapons like they are talking about fire crackers, you'll know immediately this person is bull shitting you and they have never seen Paul's or my pictures! Nor have they stood face to face, so's to speak, with these "things" that are supposed to be human beings! :-( :-( >>>Belorus, by he way, will remain radioactive for 25,000 years.<<<< This gentlemen is no exaggeration! :-( Sorry this topic touches a very sore spot with me. And to keep it on topic....... yep I shot all mine with Leica M6 and R7's, T-Max 400. ted Ted Grant Photography Limited www.islandnet.com/~tedgrant - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
