Funny about the timing that you should have posted that last night. Only a few minutes before on Leica IRC, I had been talking about the possiblility of doing a series on "red-neck girls," (see lyrics below.) I dearly love those gals, and we have a lot of them around here. All you need to do is go up and tell one of them, "You look like you need to have your picture made," and they'll be ready. Now that Natchitoches has taken down the Christmas Festival clothes and turned back into an historic village, I'm looking for a new subject, and this may just be it. On another issue, Your posting about the insensitivity of meters to IR made lots of sense to me. I recently tried a roll of BW Portra shot through a Leitz IR filter, and it was dismally underexposed. Only shots that actually had the sun's rays in them had any image at all. I had chalked that up to the chromogenic being blind to the IR, but after your explanation and checking Ilford's site, I realized that the meter was probably the blind spot. I'm gonna get some SFX and go at it again.
