I am in 100% agreement with your analysis of the M-3's, and Leicaflex
cameras.

Leica seal intact which still works so smooth that I cannot tell the
difference from the brand-new ones. Some of them have been working like
that for more than 10 years in my collection. All they need was
periodic exercises.

which I have never worried about CLA other than periodic exercises.
They seems working much better than my body which have suffered from
various diseases. I have never seen any Leicaflex bodies which suffered
from sticky shutter as I have seen some M bodies with sticky shutter.
> By the way, I remember what Marc once commented about M3's
durability saying that the M3 might be the best built because
technicians who built the M3's were the most skilled. Most of those
technicians were retired right after they finished working on the M3's.
Which possibly means that the late M3 SS bodies are arguably the most
reliable and best built. On the other hand, I remember reading about
the possibility of the M3 DS bodies being the most durable and best
built. After all is said and done, I also have propensity to believe
that the M3's are the best built and most reliable. The more I use my
M3, the more I get confident about it.
